Last week we received a letter from Dreamworks asking us to write a story about Shrek, Lord Farquaad and Donkey. We were given the problem: Donkey had been kidnapped by Lord Farquaad and was locked away in his tower! We drew a story mountain, planned each part and then wrote our stories as part of our 'Hot Writing'. We have really progressed this half term in our story writing; Miss Johnston was very impressed with all our exciting ideas and story language.
As our stories may get turned into a short film, we thought it would be a good idea to design a DVD cover and back blurb. We looked at lots of DVDs and discussed what we needed to include. Here are some them.
