The 7 continents

Today we learned to name and locate the 7 continents of the world.  To begin with, we were given a blank map and asked to label or draw anything we knew about the world.  Then we read clues that were around the playground to help us locate and label the 7 continents. Clues such as:

The largest continent is Asia.

Antarctica is found at the bottom or south of the earth.

The smallest continent is Australia.

To the west of Asia is Europe.

North and South America are joined together.

Africa is above Antarctica.

Test yourselves at home!  Then we will be learning the 5 oceans of the world.
