Paul Klee

The children wanted to find out about a famous artist so we are finding out about Paul Klee this week.  We asked questions that we wanted to find out and then used information from the Internet and Espresso to see if we could answer them. We also found out extra interesting facts such as that he did small pieces of Art and that his name is actually pronounced 'Clay'.

We liked his bright colours and funny drawings. We noticed lots of shapes and that he did line drawings like we have practised before.

We are now recreating our own version of The Castle and The Sun using a similar method to his grid method. We will add more colour using watercolours today.
