Sorting materials and recycling
We were sorting materials today from Miss Johnston's recycling bag. We sorted them into glass, plastic, metal, paper and card. Then we sorted them by their properties such as if they were strong, transparent and flexible. We recorded our findings in a Venn diagram.
We then watched some videos of how people use recycled materials; one man created a bike out of cardboard and plastic! Lots of artists use recycled materials to make sculptures and murals.
