Owl drawings

This week 2J have been sketching, drawing with ink and doing some continuous line drawing.
We have been drawing owls, thinking carefully about the outlines and then the detail.

 

Sketching was quite quick; we used strokes to get the shape and to correct any mistakes.

                       Ink drawing was a bit harder as we had to be very neat and not smudge the lines!

The continuous drawing was much more detailed and it look us a long time to colour and finish.

All the owls together...Evan thought it looked a bit like the front cover of 'Owl Babies'.
