Acrostic Poems

Today we wrote acrostic poems about nocturnal animals for a competition. Here are a few examples:

Foxes

Fierce foxes hunting all through the night trying to eat their food
Old foxes are very slow hunting in the dark night
X-ray vision they don't have
Eat nasty food from the bin making a noise like a din
Scavenging all through the night making a noise. That is a fright!

Owls

Owls are animals who come out in the dark, black night
Watch out they'll give you a terrible fright!
Lovely wise old owl flying up high
Soaring into the moonlight, saying goodbye.
