We are working out how many cakes we will need to make and how many ingredients we will need (we also had to think of our friends with allergies!) We will add up the cost of the ingredients then think about what price the cakes should be. The children have worked out that they will need to sell the cakes for more than the ingredients cost so they can make money. We looked on a supermarket website to work out the prices.
They want to raise money for more dressing up clothes, outdoor plants to water each day and some new golden time games. We will get to practise our maths money skills, adding up amounts and giving change on the day!
