Symmetrical necklaces

We solved a problem today about symmetry. We had to work out how to make symmetrical necklaces using beads of 2 different colours (4 of each). Some of us noticed we could swap the colours, some of us started in the middle or the end and some of us used a mirror to check. We drew them to help us remember which patterns we had used.

We think there are 6 ways of making symmetrical necklaces!
