Learning about special places and symbols

We looked at churches from around Europe and went on a fact hunt around the playground to learn about the special symbols, objects and places in a Church. We thought about what was a special place for us and why churches are special places for Christians.

We learned that stained glass windows show stories from the bible so we drew our own, linking it to our learning about Christian symbols and beliefs.
