As part of our 'Famous People' topic, today we read a newspaper article about Thomas Edison. We worked in groups to each read part of the article, think about the most important words or phrases and then report back to our group so they could write notes.
Writing notes means we can gather lots information quickly; we will then use the notes to help us write interesting sentences.
