We looked at some special objects used in Judaism. Then we matched up facts and pictures to gain more understanding about the Jewish faith. We watched a video and saw some special objects that are in Jewish homes. We made a mazuzah to put on our doors at school; this is a prayer or blessing in a case put on doors which Jews touch as they go in the house. We thought carefully about our prayer, here are some examples of some of our thoughts.

Dear God,

Help us to be kind to our friends.

Look out for us at school.

Remind us to listen so we can learn well.

Amen
