Our harvest also included an interesting caterpillar and some frogs from the pond, but we didn't use them in our picure.
Back in class we shared out our harvest. Initially some groups didn't have anything to make their picture out of. The children described their emotions about not being given any of the hravest (anger, sadness) and about recieiving lots of the harvest (pride because we had collecgted it, happiness).We applied this to people and countries who had lots and people who have little. The children came up with some fantastic and moving comments about the experience and how it applied to others around the world. Well done 2S.
Finally we all produced a harvest picture of a wheatsheaf, something we had looked at in Monday's lesson.
